D.A.D.S. is a nonprofit 501[c]3 organization consisting of a determined group of fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and friends who are dedicated to making a difference in our schools and communities, as opposed to abandoning the issues. Established in 2004 by concerned parents, the mission is to present a strong male image and presence at our public schools by helping teachers and administrators support our children with a preeminent learning environment. The presence of D.A.D.S. in our schools has resulted in a significant reduction in the number of classroom disruptions, office referrals, discipline referrals, dress code infractions and crowd control issues. No longer will you see only mothers making a difference in our schools and communities. With your help, we are convinced that D.A.D.S. can make a difference by providing the much-needed male involvement in every public school in this county, in this state, in this nation, and in this world.
